Ford is planning to launch its pure all electric SUV soon that will be promoted by the British actor Idris Elba, who recently played the role of a villain in “Fast and Furious: Hobbs and Shaw,”
According to the American automobile company, this new vehicle is going to be directly inspired by its Mustang range.
It was not a random decision to call on the London star, Idris Elba. He has a long personal history with the Ford Motor Company. He says that although it is not known by most of the people, he worked at Ford as a young guy. His dad was also working at Ford. Ford is practically in the blood of Elba family. So, his working in this project and sitting behind the wheel of the car taking this world to the future, feels like things coming full circle for him. But it is now with more technology and exhilaration.
Idris Elba has been promoting new automobiles before also. He embarked on a mini tour of Europe the year 2015, to judge and promote the merits of Jaguar XE.
Ford is going to unveil its new all electric SUV on November 18th 2019. It will be before it is exhibited at the Los Angeles Auto Show for the first time. This show will run from November 22 to December 2nd.
Very few details have been disclosed by the automobile making company about its new launch of all electric SUV. Ford has only published a sketch of this future vehicle. This vehicle is expected to have a maximum range of 600 km, as claimed by the company. It will place it ahead of Tesla Model Y, which has a range of 540 km, in its premium version.
